Jessica Parker, BS, PTA, CPT
My love for exercise began at a young age as I was exposed to a variety of sports--soccer, swimming, volleyball, track--in elementary school and junior high. I continued playing soccer and swimming through high school and club in college.
With a knee injury my junior year of high school, and shoulder surgery my freshman year of college, I spent many hours in physical therapy, working with some wonderful people.
I found a deep passion for fitness, and a love for rehabilitative exercise as I progressed through college and subsequently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University-Idaho. Upon graduation, I certified as a Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise and began my career as a personal trainer. I worked in both a gym setting and out of a physical therapy clinic. My experience in both settings led me back to school, and I recently licensed as Physical Therapist Assistant.
I am now working full time as a Physical Therapist Assistant and am independently employed as a Personal Trainer. My passion is not only to help people recover from injuries and illness, but to help keep your body strong and healthy to prevent injury and illness.
I am married to a Dietitian, therefore I bring a unique trifecta of strength, recovery, and wellness to each client. If you are looking to begin, progress, or continue any sort of fitness program, please get in touch with me here.
I look forward to working with you!
